Angry Birds Fight

ANGRY BIRDS FIGHT – Written by Carroll Bryant

You can try and say

Anything with words to hurt me

You can fly away

Spread your wings just to escape me

You can shake your head

If what I am does not complete thee

You can keep the bed

And instigate the shame under the sheets

You can make believe that there was never you and me so

Hide behind your smile

Cheek to cheek and all the while

Hide behind the sun

Let’s pretend I am no one

Hide behind the wall

The one you built so grand and tall and

Hide behind the night

Where in empty nests and empty trees

In the flow within the breeze

There’s just you and there’s just me tonight

Angry birds fight

I can play this game

Everything in life prepared me

I’m Unifi able that way

Your turning into monochrome memories

I can roll my eyes

When I can’t wait for your delivery

I’m less than satisfied

With the state of your satori

I can make believe that there was you and me so

Hide behind your smile

Cheek to cheek and all the while

Hide behind the sun

Let’s pretend I am no one

Hide behind the wall

The one you built so grand and tall and

Hide behind the night

Where in empty nests and empty trees

In the flow within the breeze

There’s just you and there’s just me tonight

Angry birds fight

Life can’t stop the world from spinning

It manages its own rules and sits there in its own time

And love can’t stop my heart from breaking

It gathers in the sins of you just to decrypt my simple mind

You can shake your head

You can keep the bed

I can play this game

Your turning into monochrome memories so

Hide behind your smile

Cheek to cheek and all the while

Hide behind the sun

Let’s pretend I am no one

Hide behind the wall

The one you built so grand and tall and

Hide behind the night

Where in empty nests and empty trees

In the flow within the breeze

There’s just you and there’s just me tonight

Angry birds fight
